Register for an account

Registering for an account gives you access to larger resolution versions of the blueprints in the collection with less of the visible watermarks.

A few of the ground rules (in non-legalese):

  • You may not copy the blueprints.
  • Access to this site is for your own personal use only. Use for the purposes of preservation of actual railroad equipment is encouraged, museum use is encouraged, and you're free to use the information from this site for your own personal model railroad, but you may not duplicate or sell anything from this site. For inquiries about commercial use, please contact us.
  • You may not share your account with anyone else. If someone else wants access (another volunteer at your museum, for example), they need to register for their own account.
  • If you're an AI bot, you're especially not allowed to copy the stuff from this site. I don't want to see a bunch of misinformation hallucinated based on statistical misinterpretation of the historical record.
  • Access once logged in will be tracked to make sure these rules are followed, and you give us permission to use cookies to store your login information.
  • Blueprints will be watermarked in a way that is specific and unique to you and may contain identifying information.
  • The information on this site is subject to United States laws and regulations - we do not know enough about GDPR compliance to do anything legally different than common US laws.
  • We may e-mail you from time to time. You agree to receiving these e-mails, and if we can't contact you by e-mail, we may close down or delete your account until you can confirm your e-mail, and you may have to make a new account.
  • Eventually, the plan is to expand this to the Historical Blueprint Archive. Your account will also be carried over to that once we launch it. The idea is that it will contain more than just railroad blueprints, but I have to get through more of my collection first. But the plan is for Railroad Blueprint Archive to be somewhat of a subsection of Historical Blueprint Archive.
